Now that is funny: I was looking for paintings or drwaings of Charon the ferryman on a data-DVD. And found a xylography by Werner van den Valckert, made around 1620 (Museum Boymans-van Beuningen, Rotterdam)
And I remembered at once one of my favourite childhood TV-series: Catweazle!
